The Mount Olive Public Library offers usage of the Cricut Maker and the Cricut EasyPress to any card holder in good standing.

An appointment is required to use the Cricut Maker and the Cricut EasyPress. Please call the library at 973-691-8686 ext.104 in advance to check availability and schedule an appointment. Please review the Library’s Cricut Usage Policy, found here.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Cricut is an electronic cutting and drawing machine. Designs created on your computer or smart device using the free Cricut Design Space program, can be cut or drawn into material such as paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, and more.

The Cricut can be used to make signs, stickers, clothing iron-ons, labels, greeting cards, and much more!

  • A Cricut Maker
  • A Cricut EasyPress
  • Cut mats sized 12″x12″ and 12″x24″
    • Light Grip
    • Fabric Grip
  • Fine Point Blade
  • Rotary Blade
  • Weeding Tools
  • A design prepared in Cricut Design Space.
    • Cricut Design Space is a free program for your Windows, Apple, and Android devices
    • Cricut will upload a variety of file types: JPEG, PNG, SVG, DXF, EPS
  • A personal device such as a laptop or smart device with Bluetooth or USB capabilities in order to transfer designs to the Cricut for cutting.
  • Materials to create your project.
  • Additional cardstock or butcher paper for heat press projects.
  • Anywhere from a few minutes for a small design to several hours for a larger/more detailed design.
  • We have a very limited amount of Cricut supplies available. If you are in need of something specific, or you would like to, you may provide your own materials to use in the Cricut.
